Unplug Appliances
Believe it or not, your appliances still use energy when plugged in. If you will unplug them when not in use, it will save you energy, and prolong the life of the appliance.
Install Motion Sensing Switches
You won't ever have to say “Turn Those Lights Off” again. You can install one of these simple devices that activate lights when there is motion in the room or area, and turn them off when there isn’t. These will instantly start saving you money.
Digital Wall Timers
These are great for outdoor lighting, Christmas lights, or anything that only needs to be on during certain times. They will control almost anything, and you can simply program when you want them to come on and off.
Programmable Thermostats
This is almost the simplest way to save money immediately. Heating & Cooling your home consumes a large amount of energy. With a digital t-stat, it will regulate your homes temperature during summer, winter, occupied, and unoccupied. These are a must!
